The National Restaurant Association has partnered closely with ENERGY STAR for years to help provide restaurant operators with great tools and resources for reducing their energy costs.

ENERGY STAR, a joint effort of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, offers significant resources for restaurant operators, including:

• Guide to ENERGY STAR-rated commercial foodservice equipment in six categories (fryers, hot food holding cabinets, commercial solid door refrigerators and freezers, commercial steam cookers, commercial dishwashers, and commercial ice makers)
• ENERGY STAR Web site section specifically for restaurateurs
• Rebate locator for qualified commercial foodservice equipment.
